In the year 1998 (an era before the internet boom), I went to Subhashish Sir for IIT JEE coaching in Jamshedpur, though now he teaches in Bangalore. I still have a certificate given by him from Association of Mathematics teachers of India. Right now, I work as a lead engineer for a north american product company at Bangalore.
I would like to recommend him for IIT JEE aspirants as I found him an excellent teacher in Physics and Mathematics. He engages with students in personal manner and goes extra mile to solve their doubts. I remember once he has taken an extra class at late night 12 o’ clock for our group.
Its a huge opportunity for students in Bangalore for IIT coaching as many of his students have scored single and double digit ranks. Subhashish sir has some 25 years of experience in teaching for various competitive exams including prestigious physics Olympiads.

As a part my effort to spread a word about doubtpoint, of late I have been meeting few professors and coaching institutes, however, I specifically would like to highlight Professor. Subhashish Chattopadhyay whom I recently met.
He teaches Physics, Maths and Chemistry for IITJEE , CET , AIEEE and for students appearing all other engineering entrance tests. He was teaching at the Physics national camp many years and one of his students Abhinav Kumar stood first in IIT JEE all India 1998. Abhinav also got Gold representing India in IMO (International Mathematics Olympiad ) couple of times.
Without doubt, he is one of the extremely knowledgeable professors for IIT JEE domain. Having interacted with him I particularly understand his pedagogy is unique not the run of the mill. I wanted to introduce Prof. Subhashish to all of you. He has been teaching for IIT JEE since 1989 ( so almost 25 years now ). He runs a IIT JEE + Science Olympiad home based coaching named as SKMClasses.
Though late, my son started with him, and is very happy. We are amazed by his communication skills, and knowledge. We see the huge difference, with other teachers and coaching’s. Better late than never, we are lucky to know about him. Several school toppers are his personal students.

Dear friends,
Over the past few months, I have been grappling with the complexities of preparing a child for the many competitive exams ( such as IIT JEE ) which our children will have to negotiate before they can get admitted to colleges of their choice.I am lucky and happy to come across classes by Prof. Subhashish in South Bangalore. I wish to share with you the details. As you , another fellow parent, who like me, may also be struggling with such an important issue.
Dedicated effort and hard work by the student are of course incredibly important but I am convinced that a good grasp of the fundamentals is the key. To this end, the teacher plays the most crucial role. A teacher who stresses on fundamentals is a Guru every student must be fortunate to have.
Prof. Subhashish Chattopadhyay has been teaching students for IIT JEE since past 24 years. I had the privilege of sitting in a couple of his classes and was impressed by his grasp; not just on the fundamentals, but also on those subtle tricks that can make a problem melt away.

Prof. Subhashish has uploaded more than 2600 videos for all topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Youtube ( search for dezrina ).
He has also been involved with Indian physics and chemistry olympiad.
In 2012 the Indian students ( 4 of them ) won 3 Gold and 1 Silver in IChO ( International Chemistry Olympiad ).
You will be remembering that my friend Prof. Subhashish Chattopadhyay had pioneered Indian Participation in IPhO back in 1998. He had taught at HBCSE Mumbai National Physics Camp ( BARC Campus ) a few times. The top 35 guys of India are prepared here for International Physics Olympiad ( IPhO ). 5 of these guys are chosen to represent India, at International Physics Olympiad.

At – IChO – ( 2012 ) 4 Indian students participated – Manav Avlani (Mumbai), Shubham Chandak (Bhopal) and Diptarka Hait (Kolkata)—bagged 3 gold medals, while Nimit Kumar Singh from Jaipur got a silver.
